Order two new NIST-traceable 1000W bulbs (S-style) annually

Order two new 12" and two new 5" spectralon panels annually

Place new standards in locked current calibration cabinet with calibration documentation - only used for AVIRIS calibration

Affix proper mounting hardware to new standards; make sure standard serial numbers are clearly visible

Retire old standards and documentation to secondary cabinet

Enter 5nm splined data for new standards onto networked database

Record hours of use for each bulb on slip in the bulb box

Spectralon reflectance standards must be covered with a clean room (no lint) cloth and covered (to protect them from damage) when not in use

Irradiance standards must be placed back into their boxes when cool

Irradiance standards will be only be handled with gloved hands (clean gloves)
